Dow PIR Tuff-R™ is as versatile as it is powerful.

Dow Styrofoam™ Extruded Polystyrene and PIR Tuff-R™ insulation boards help manage energy loss and moisture, two of the most costly issues facing homeowners today.

The Dow PIR Tuff-R™ insulation boards feature the highest insulation value of any foam sheathing available. Dow Tuff-R™ is a closed cell PIR foam core sandwiched between two durable, aluminium foil exterior facers. The first is a continuous sheet of aluminium foil, the other is Aluminium foil-Kraft Paper-Aluminium foil.

Air cannot penetrate the facers, which also minimises water and water vapour intrusion into the foam insulation core, and allows the foam R-value to stabilise at a higher value.

Dow PIR Tuff-R™ insulation can be easily applied to a variety of substrates. With a range of specialised facers to suit your specific design requirements and Dow’s superior performance guarantee optimum energy efficiency and comfort all year round.

Dow PIR Tuff-R™ insulation boards are easy to handle, cut and install. They can be cut with a utility knife or any sharp blade. And as with all Dow PIR insulations products, they are manufactured with hydrocarbon blowing agents which have no ozone depletion potential.
