Like all Dow Styrofoam™ extruded polystyrene insulation, SMTG™ offers a high R-Value combined with an exceptional resistance to moisture and warping. Its proprietary closed cell structure enables it to defend against all forms of water and water vapour, so it maintains a stable R-Value over time.

The tongue-and-groove edge treatment makes Dow Styrofoam™ SMTG™ especially effective against air infiltration, one of the leading causes of energy loss in a home. And with boards that fit snugly against one another, you will have a smooth, even surface for the exterior siding.
